An exceptional young actress commissioned this bangle to tell the story of her life to incorporate symbolic imagery and embody her philosophical ideals. Subtle engraving was also taken from her own drawings.
The swan represents her birth and a happy new period in life. An 18ct golden scar dusted with tiny yellow diamonds across the bangle represents the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi ‘the art of precious scars’, conveying a meaningful message of resilience and the beauty of imperfection.
