The inspiration for this intricate 18ct white gold & diamond bespoke ring came from the clients love of nature, so it’s an earthy mix of tiny white gold leaves, granulation, tiny seeds & intricate foliage; set with an array of multicoloured diamonds peeking out from the undergrowth…a beautiful magical chaos!

This client wanted her original 1.18 carat brilliant cut diamond to take centre stage. So it was removed from her original ring along with some other little white diamonds belonging to her, and we set it centrally and let the bejewelled garden grow around it.
Sophie worked closely with this client, discussing her sketches & design ideas as they went along, either in person at the studio, or on email. It’s a creative journey for both Sophie and her client, and it’s always a leap of faith going from an original drawing to the finished piece… Both nerve wracking and exciting in equal amounts for both parties, especially with a design as intricate as this. The final reveal is always such a thrilling moment …. and her client fell in love with this as soon as she saw it!
It really feels like alchemy to create something so fresh and new using a clients original stones - and precious metals sometimes too. It’s such a magical creative process and we love making your jewellery dreams into reality.
