Brendon commissioned this beautiful piece as a 40th birthday gift for his wife Hayley who fell in love with these amazing moths when seeing them in the garden.
These fascinating insects are named because of their similarity to hummingbirds, when feeding on the nectar of tube-shaped flowers using their long proboscis while hovering in the air.
What makes these exquisite creatures even more special is that they are said to be healers and bringers of love, luck and joy.
The piece was then set with the birthstone of each family member, including rainbow diamonds, pink tourmaline, garnet, aquamarine, ruby, moonstone and emerald. And a secret message was engraved on the back.
