FAQs
Can I attach the charms myself?
Yes, all our charms arrive with un-soldered jump rings attached and you can add them to your chain yourself if you have a couple of pairs of small pliers (see attached video!). If you don’t have pliers or you find it a little tricky, we can also do this for you if you’d like to post your chain to us or come into the studio.
Can the charms be taken on and off?
Once attached the charms can only be taken off with pliers so, although it is certainly possible to take them on and off, they are not instantly interchangeable.
How should the charms be arranged on the chain?
This is totally up to you, however if you are unsure, we can absolutely advise on the charm placement and make recommendations for optimum positioning to ensure they hang beautifully!
If I would like the charms to be arranged in a particular way on my chain, how should I relay this to you?
No problem, simply add these details in the notes section on the checkout page when placing your order, or email us at info@sophieharley.com with your requirements.
Can I add more charms in the future or change the order of my existing ones?
Absolutely, charms can be added as you collect them, and we can always give your existing pieces a ‘re-vamp’ by switching them round or by swapping them completely with other charms.
There is a special charm I would like that is not already part of your collection, do you offer bespoke commission service?
Yes we do! Please send us an email at info@sophieharley.com with your idea to open a bespoke enquiry and we can see what we can do! We’ve made a bespoke tennis racket, maple leaf and rainbow among others so nearly everything is possible!
