One of our favourite ways of creating beautiful jewels is by re-modelling pieces that belonged to someone special to you, or breathing new life into old jewels you no longer wear, by re-using and re-modelling them into something new.
For this detailed ring, Sophie’s lovely Godmother wanted to incorporate her Father’s old wedding band into a new ring for herself. So the central part of the ring is the original band, and the left over gold from re-sizing was used for the outer beaded wire on the top and bottom of the ring.
Sophie incorporated one of her gorgeous Venetian Wings, that represent hope and liberation, set with pave white Diamonds, as well as a sprinkling of white diamonds in different sizes around the ring. Making the vibrant green of the emerald cut Peridot stand out beautifully.
